THEATER AND CINEMA

Theater and Cinema are the artistic forms through which he expresses the mature fruit of his experiences and reflections on Existence, the Human Being, the other Living Beings.

The collaboration with the director Tommaso MiceliMalaguti has the main purpose of allowing him to express his natural comic-satirical style without "weighing it down" with recitative tricks that are not suited to him, to preserve its original theatrical and cinematographic expressiveness.

There are two Guiding Principles of this artistic expression:

  1. At least we don't do theater in the theater.

  2. The Cinema form used not to "build truth through fiction", as happens in classic cinema (a method which is, however, admirable when it reaches the results of cinematographic masterpieces), but to express one's vision with a cinematic style.

Therefore, "Natural Thetricality" and "Existential Cinema" are the artistic forms that inform the art of Pascariello and MiceliMalaguti, and through which they intend to inform the public of the results of Mario Pascariello's philosophical and spiritual research, conducted immersed in the flow of a life lived in a passionate way open to various experiences and existential experiments. The comic-satirical style characterizes his instinctive expressiveness.

Comedy shows ridicule in human conduct to achieve two objectives: to give the audience laughter and invite them to reflect on those contradictions that the special comic eye manages to grasp between the cracks, we would say the cracks, of apparent normality.

The comedy of escape is a breath of fresh air in a civilization intoxicated by so many ugliness, the comedy of reflection is a therapy to try to transform the ugly into beautiful through jolts of impertinent apparent madness aimed at crumbling the real madness that lies beneath. the veil of apparent normality. Mario Pascariello strives to propose both types of comedy within an comic/existential/ spiritual artistic project whose supervision is entrusted to the direction of Tommaso MiceliMalaguti.
