The short film “Miracle! Mother Nature appeared to me ”was produced with a different production method from that usually adopted in classic cinema.

The video shots were made "live", without a subject written before. The reflections of the protagonist / narrator, Mario Pascariello, were filmed in the very moment in which they arose, without any previous intellectual preparation. The subject of the film took shape in the post-production work, after viewing the shot.

The protagonist / narrator expressed his reflections without knowing that the director intended to make a film with them. He thought that they would simply be uploaded to youtube with the intention of making his reflections known to a wide audience, but he did not know that they would merge into an artistic architecture, that is, that they would be the pieces useful for composing a cinematographic work, at the which he then participated as a co-director in the pre-editing and editing phase.

We can define Mario Pascariello's reflections as the ripe fruit of an existence lived in a lively way.

Therefore, while traditional cinema expresses truth through fiction, the type of cinema proposed in “Miracle! Mother Nature appeared to me "documents the truth with a cinematographic style, therefore it is placed on the border between documentary and cinema, a border in which the existential vision of the protagonist is located, who is an actor in the etymological sense of the term," the one who acts ”, As he does not play a character, but expresses himself. In this sense, almost always in our work of “existential improvisation”, the first one must be “good”, because if this is not the case, the following takes are unlikely to preserve the freshness of the reflective motion taken up in the moment of its manifestation. However, at times Mario Pascariello has played the role of the classic actor in a completely exceptional way ... almost of the classic actor ... because Pascariello, in “Miracle! Mother Nature appeared to me ", only plays Pascariello ...
