I have burned essential moments
in the vortex of the immense wave of life.
BIOGRAPHY
He lives an intense life, full of vital experiences and frequentations of various types of people and environments not homologated to the prevailing social patterns, characterized by a symbiotic relationship with Nature, with a particular predilection for the sea and the sun, constantly striving for intense research of the answers to the great existential questions: why do we suffer? why do you die? God exists? and if it exists, can we have a relationship with him? why man has created a social structure that makes people unhappy? ... Drawing on the wisdom contained in various texts of Western and especially Eastern philosophy, he finds theoretical support from authoritative sources for his path characterized by disinterest in hectic life and superficial typical of the model proposed / imposed by the society of profit and consumption. In the first years following his adolescence he lived mainly living in self-managed farms, ashrams and municipalities in Florence, Rome and Bologna, trying to lead a simple but profound life as taught by the Sages of all time. Throughout his life he provides for his basic needs by doing various "short-term" jobs.
In the second half of the 80s he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna, where he obtained a Degree in Painting, and embarked on a pictorial journey with exhibitions throughout Italy. Towards the end of the 90s, advised by various people who appreciated his natural comic vis, he decided to start a training course as a comic actor, attending in 2000 the Permanent Comic Workshop directed by Bruno Nataloni, Corrado Nuzzo and Sandra Cavallini, an interesting experience that it allows him to begin to become aware of his own potential from a professional perspective. After some other training experience and participation in some comedy festivals, the meeting with Tommaso MiceliMalaguti inaugurates the beginning of an artistic research that has been going on continuously since May 2008 and which has resulted in the creation of two comic-satirical / existential theater works. : "I'm bad out" (debut June 27, 2009 at the Teatro del Navile in Bologna) and "You're either busy or you're unemployed! ... we were men, we became workers" (debut June 2, 2015 at the Teatro del Lampadiere in Bologna) .
In 2018 the debut in video art with the work "An applause to Mother Nature", of which he is the author, interpreter and director, with which he participates in the same year at the OFF ORTOMETRAGGI Festival held in Borgagne (LE).
In 2019 he made in collaboration with Tommaso MiceliMalaguti the short film “Miracle! Mother Nature appeared to me ”. The opera has won many awards at international film festivals

THE WROTE ABOUT HIM
“The artist presents recent works that testify to the presence of a graceful research to which he passes from paintings more aimed towards a material with an almost lyrical flavor within which the sign (we would say) secret to others - and they are the last - with an aggressive flavor. Here the matter takes on a greater and decisive violence while the sign (which has become authoritative) ends up coming out of the surfaces, invading the third dimension and solidifying thanks to the use of wire or other.
And it is these last works that we liked the most as we have identified in them a greater compositional freedom combined with an expanding (we would say) unstoppable force. "
Roberto Vitali, art critic, “Mongolfiera”, 9/89
“Mario Pascariello's painting finds its roots in the climate of the 50-60s. Think of Scanavino and the informal and expressionist painting of that period. I seem to see in the last paintings a delusional will aimed at defeating the form. A rough painting, made up of broad gestures, but full of moods; abrupt, but at times courteous and delicate. "
Giovanni D'Agostino, painter and teacher of the Academy of Fine Arts of Bologna, on the occasion of the Collective "Presenze Giovani dell'Arte" in 1990 at the Bertold Brecht Cultural Circle in Milan in via Padova, 61
"His oil paintings are full of evocative magnetism, his watercolors suggest the observer's gaze, projecting it towards further worlds."
Tommaso MiceliMalaguti, director and writer
